NAMCHEN NEKOR
Namchen Nekor is an ancient pilgrimage to the sacred Namchen Mountains. Local monks guide devotees through mystical locations rich in significance, with the final destination being the sacred cave of Du Kang. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava performed miracles in these hills, and passing through the cave is believed to purify a person. The pilgrimage offers a spiritually enriching experience and a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage.
SANGTI VALLEY
Sangti Valley is a picturesque valley in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. It is situated at 7,000 feet above sea level and is surrounded by the mighty Himalayas. The valley is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, lush green forests, and crystal-clear rivers. One common folklore associated with the name of Sangti is that this valley emerged after the sea level went down. Sangti is home to the Monpa tribe, a type of Buddhist nomadic tribe indigenous to this area. Sangti is also well known for being seasonal hosts to the migratory and endangered Black-necked crane.
PEOPLE
Monpas is one of the major tribes of the West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh. The Monpa are believed to be the only nomadic tribe in Northeast India – they are totally dependent on animals like sheep, cows, yak, goats, and horses. The Monpas are skilled in agriculture, weaving, and handicrafts, and their products are renowned for their intricate designs and high quality. They are known for their hospitality and warmth.

6.30 a.m: Our team will pick you up from Guwahati and take you on a scenic road trip to Sangti Valley.
4.00-5.00 p.m: After a breathtaking drive, you will be welcomed by the warm and friendly locals.
8.00 - 9.00 p.m: Dinner
