Event Details

Tungtungkamu is a community-led learning programme and cultural festival shaped by the Totos—one of India’s smallest and most resilient tribal communities. It invites participants to understand Toto life from the community’s own perspective.

Through conversations, guided walks and hands-on sessions, participants meet Toto elders, language practitioners, naturalists, farmers, storytellers, craftspeople and archivists. Together, they explore Toto identity, language, oral histories, ecology, craft, spiritual traditions and ongoing efforts towards cultural continuity.
